I lifted the tailgate on my jeep, to remove the taillight assembly, you must remove 3 10mm bolts. Then the assembly will remove and to replace the reverse bulb, you turn the bottom light carrier left, in order for it to be removed from the socket. Pull the old bulb out gently, put the new bulb in, then repeat the process in reverse, then the same on the other side.
