Fastbrakes – Fastbrakes began in 1996 when we bought our first Honda, a 1990 Civic Si. Wanting better braking performance we tried to find an affordable brake upgrade and couldn’t find anything available. So we made our own. From this beginning Fastbrakes has been able to design, develop and manufacture brake kits for over 200 vehicles that provide the customer with quality and value for their money. Using only high quality components in our kits, Fastbrakes stands behind the quality and value in every kit we make. We make and sell brake kits for all types of cars, from classic American cars to the latest vehicles from Acura, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Scion, Mazda, and many others. We also custom make kits upon request.

AWD RSX and 5 bolt 2001-2005 Civic, 4 pot with park brake using StopTech calipers
Mockup of the TurboFit exhaust routing. Big pipe equals large bends. Don't mind the red wire, had to place the pipe to clear the brace prior to welding on the support rod.
Here's the prototype duct for the 300mm kits we sell using the StopTech and Wilwood calipers.
Things we have to due to make sure kits work correctly!

Getting the final pieces made for the TurboFit project. Prototype air box and battery tray made today.
This intake tube is the only place we couldn't get the stock type clamps to work. Might have to do something else here but for now it will work.
radiator piping for upper hose. We want it to be as clean as possible and factory looking.
Another shot of the engine with factory style clamps for all the hoses, trying to maintain the stock look
Cool air (notice it's not a Cold Air, since it never gets cold in Phoenix) box mock up
Just a reminder that Fastbrakes makes race kits for the Honda cars running 13 and 14" wheels. A great kit is the 10.25" 4 pot kit for the CRX and early Civics, using the Powerlite caliper. For these lighter weight cars this kit will provide increased braking power along with better pedal feel due to the 4 pot caliper. 1 piece rotor kits start at $745, and a 2 piece rotor version is available starting at $1245. We run a similar kit on the FX16 and it has plenty of stopping power. We took it out on track and even running street pads had great success and a lot of fun.
For the Toyota old school owners out there we are finishing up a new kit for the 82-85 Celica/Supra using a 1 piece 11.3" rotor and Wilwood Dynapro radial mount calipers. Fits under 15" wheels.
Fastbrakes has a new 300mm front brake kit for the Integra OR Civic using the new Stop Tech STR42 calipers. This caliper is designed to withstand the extremely high brake line pressures associated with championship caliber race series such as the SCCA STL class. The kit also comes with the innovative brackets which allow brake ducting to be directly attached, providing a steady stream of air to the center of the rotor. Available now.
This is where we're putting the coolant tank. Also making a bracket to move the ABS unit to the left about an inch or so.
